 Aside from swiping someone else's credit card number, flying
to Japan, suddenly learning Japanese and then purchasing every

 Well, the other option, aside from working *gak* honestly,
is to get a Hi-8 camera, sneak into every anime convention on
the continent (preferably North America or Southeast Asia), 
and bootleg the heck out of whatever you see. 99% chance, it's
not Ranma, but hey..
 Really, the way to "save" on anime purchases is to make large
orders via phone or e-tailer. The notable sites escape me for the
moment. This way, order out of state to avoid sales tax, and
sometimes e-tailers offer 10% discounts off of *gak* retail.
Furthermore, the shipping on large orders (if done standard, and not
FedEx's There-In-A-Second-For-10%-Of-The-GNP services) will
tend to be lower than taxes. (Given avg. rate of $1-3 per item
vs. a 7-9% sales tax)

 (1) "Spring of Drowned Octopus meets Resident Evil". 'Nuff said.
 (Well.. okay, so then the tentacles are technically zombified and
decaying, not naughty, but hey, when a rotting tentacle is crawling
across the floor at you, I don't think it makes a difference whether
it's going for your throat or making a trip Down Under.)

 (2) "Pantyhose Tarou meets The Texas Chainsaw Massacre". I figure
the tentacles'll get lopped off and the Essence of Hatred for Happi
will bring 'em back from oblivion to forever haunt him.. Given
where he goes, that qualifies as some fairly naughty tentacles.

 (3) "SoD Octopus meets _Justine_". So it's not what the Marquis had in 
mind. But he'd be damn proud. ^_-
(That's right! 2000 is the 207th Birthday of this classic story of love, 
hate, and.. uh.. well, the more 'moral' among you should probably go 
be offended at this point.)
