Happy Y2K to all. I celebrated by running outside at midnight and ringing
bells
with a friend, and then running back inside after about thirty seconds
because
it was cold and damp outside and anyway there's only so much bell-ringing a
person can perform at one stretch.
True fact: A couple hours after the year turned over (by Greenwich Standard
Time), a new species of insect was discovered in New Zealand and named the
Y2K
Bug.

> I'm back. More or less.
YAY!!! YOU'RE BACK!!! *glomp*
Hey, maybe now things will pick up around here. I didn't even check my ML
mail
for three days because messages were coming through on the order of maybe
one or
two a day, and they were all pretty much about nothing.

*blinks* Were you always like this, or did your leave of absence change you?
Ah, Escaflowne, the anime that has something for everyone. I love the music
(of
course). Some of it reminds me of John Williams.

One of the main skewing factors in polls is that only people who are
interested
in the subject at hand will respond to the poll to begin with. It's like the
old
joke about a questionnaire survey indicating that 100% of the populace likes
filling out questionnaires.
