well, that depends on what country you happen to be in, or the culture you
are in....
In some places, it's illegal to be a Christian... In the Sudan, Christians
are persecuted daily, many are made slaves, raped, or killed... In Malaysia,
you can be a Christian, but if you evangelize or share your faith with
somebody (biblical principals call Christians to do so) you can be arrested.
In Burma, (I knew somebody from my church who went there yearly to train
Christians self-defense because of this) people are killed simply because
they are Christians. It's just that we are very fortunate to be in a country
that currently doesn't persecute in an ugly way. (still some persecution,
but it's not blatent) But how far down the line are we in the USA of having
more things happen? I don't think it's too far away. (I could site
examples, but I'm really tired right now.)
Of course, now I gotta end my rant.
