Sorry to post twice in one MO, but I just read something in the
L.A. Times that exemplifies my views on censorship. (What a
coinkidink!)
A reader writes to the Times:
"Charlton Heston certainly has a right to speak at the Skirball
Center [as president of the NRA], and I have a right not to
listen."
There you go. This person is against the NRA (as I am), but he
doesn't seek to prevent its president from being heard. He only
decides not to listen himself. It's nice to know that there are
still some sane people in this not-so-fair city.
