Shadow:
On the whole subject of politics and protesting, I am also
extremely liberal, but still against any form of censorship. I've
said before that both liberals and conservatives tend to be
guilty of censoring--liberals try to censor things that aren't
"politically correct" and conservatives try to censor things that
"threaten family values". (Both phrases are in quotes because
they are such vague, loaded terms.) Justicar rightly observed
that because of this, anime may very well get squeezed from both
sides if it goes mainstream. Let's all take up the rallying cry:
"IF'N YA DON'T LIKE IT, DON'T BUY IT!! IF'N YOU DON'T WANT YOUR
KIDS SEEING IT, FOR GOD'S SAKES WATCH YOUR KIDS!! IT DOESN'T TAKE
A BRAIN SURGEON TO FIGURE THIS OUT!!"
There. Sorry, I tend to get emotional about these things.
Hotnit:
>She said she was 4 at the time though. I mean really, "Bad to
>play with wartoys are"?
Who wrote that sign, anyway? Yoda?
Some Arrogant Newbie:
>It's not fair to be mistreated because you are a newbie
Well, then, is it fair to be "mistreated" because you are being
totally rude and obnoxious and using foul language for no good
reason?
