That's the FFML, and yes - people join up BECAUSE of fanfics. They know
they will get fanfics and are able to post them. The RanmaML has a rule
against posting fanfics, so one does not post them. It's probably a good
idea not to post fanfics or huge files to a list unless it speficically
says that you ARE allowed to do so!

Yes, he'd be flamed for posting something that he wasn't allowed to post,
rather than from any content of said fanfic.
