Right.  So I'm in bed last night, trying to fall asleep and I keep thinking 
that I'm forgetting something...  Oh yeah... the fanfic!  Whoops.  Anyhow, my 
apologies for the tardiness of the assignment.  Been busy, etc.

Well, people seemed lukewarm to the suggestion that I assign one of the 
mega-epic fanfics on a chapter-per-week basis.  I figure I've got a decent 
compromise - the one I'm assigning consists of ten not-overly-long chapters, 
and is not one of the 'fics that everyone has already read anyway.  'Sides, I 
wouldn't think that those of you in the group are too adverse to a fair 
amount of reading, right?

We'll plan on discussing it Tuesday after next.  If people need more time 
then that, just let me know...

This period's fanfic is "Love Letters from the Edge," by the Scriviner.  It's 
an alternate universe that makes one small change and runs with it.  It 
should make for great discussion.  It can be found at:
