Damn it!  I liked 'em!  (Of course I actually played for a state team, so I guess
I'm a bit biased to the game.) Despite the fact that they totally sucked and got last
place.  (Of course I also like the Cubs and Bears.  Coincidence?)

Perhaps the women's team would win 4-nil.  China's women's team would beat the Chinese
male team, like 10-0.  Chinese men's team couldn't even beat a team from a youth league.

Back to the U.S.; two words to the U.S. men's squad:  Roy Lassiter.  Also Bruce Arena's
coaching (UVA rocks baby) and he hasn't had a losing campaign in ages so watch out
in Japan/Korea in '02.

I'm still pissed at my hrs.  Not only did I miss golden goal and PKs, I have to work
during the ESPN re-play tomorrow.  (Or was it Tuesday?  Either way)

Also the game was at the Rose Bowl.  0-0 tie at the Rose Bowl?  Sounds familiar...

(It really sucks that Italy has to lose on PKs, btw.)
