An obvious question, in this context, is what did you show her that
led to this response?
I've had a few occasions to corrupt America's youth by lending anime
tapes to children of my friends: the first time I tried Oh My Goddess!
and first season Ranma, but they quit watching at the end of the summer.
Now, I got a family with three kids interested in Himichan's Ribbon,
and the middle girl has gone on to watch Maramalade Boy.
But I haven't recruited any new anime fans from my immediate peer group
(whatever that is...)
