Brad and Shadow with an Eva quote compilation:
> Asuka: "Arrrgh! I didn't mean for you to get THAT up!"
> Shinji: "It's morning! I gotta take a whiz, or something.."
> Asuka: "Don't point it at me, you jerk!"
> Rei: "What? Are you riding his baloony pony?"
Must be dubbed lines. I don't recognize any of 'em.
> Well I can tell Newcomer does not like the works of Richard
> Lawson very much. Though I do think Brad is right and you are
> confusing "Thy Inward Part" with "Thy Outward Part" I actually think
> "Thy Inward Part" is one of the best Ranma and Akane fic around and
> it's sequels are very good to.
It has it's moments, though I'll be the first to admit that in it's
genre, it's one of my favorites as well, though my all-time favorite has
to be RpM's The More Things Change arc and sequels. I'm also a big fan
of Ranma Goes to War and sequel, as well as the Shadow Chronicles.
And Jim comments to U2R:
> BTW, no need to curse... I just made a suggestion that you be careful
> to avoid spoilers. Especially EVA spoilers on a Ranma ML.
Spoilers? Where? I didn't see any.....
Eva has reached the same point as other series such as BGC. Nobody
worries about BGC spoilers, because it's simply assumed that people who
want to see it, either have seen the entirety or have read up on it on
the internet.
NGE is the same way, to my mind. It has been out long enough by now
that people who really are interested in it enough to care about
spoilers have usually already seen the entire series, or failing that,
already read about the ending of EoE, and D&R, and so forth on the
internet. I personally knew about the endings of the movies before I
had even seen the entire series, and it didn't hurt my enjoyment of the
show one bit.
With the range of anime that is discussed on this list, I find making
such prohibitions to be a little out of place.
And, although I may simply be able to be labeled as being clique-ish, I
agree with U2R. Whatever spoilers there may have been weren't really
strong enough to warrant being called down for it.
Oh, and U2R? I've been here for over three years now, and although I
was here a bit before you were, at this point, a few months doesn't
really matter much. I lurked for almost four months or so before I
posted anything, if I remember correctly.
