Actually, it's come to the point where I prefer Colin as well.  Gnollman 
was a title for a different age, when factions were warring and 
inter-necine strife was evident.  Now, such things are not prevalent, so, 
no need for the name.  

Gnollman was my childhood name, you might say.  I feel as I've come of 
age, as it were, so it's just Colin, now.  

Besides, nobody calls me that here in Japan.  Just my friends back in the 
States.

Almost be damned.  I'm moving right along here, only use english for 
teaching and talking to myself, now.  My kanji still needs some work, but 
my conversation is pretty damn good now.  Still needs some work on 
situational words, but not bad, not bad at all.

let me use my Japanese and German skills when I get back to the States.
