It's Sunday, and I think I'm supposed to be doing group work for a
tech-design project... uh oh.

Stiffanie, I was going to reccomend "Hearts of Ice," but Yuffie beat me
to it. One of my fave fics is "Happy Mother's Day," by Dave Harper, at
 http://home.golden.net/~dharper/mothersd.txt
It's not so much an epic as a comedy, with lots of references to various
series, such as Urusei Yatsura and Oh My Goddes, as well as Monty Python
("And what do we know about ducks?"), and the Hitchhiker's Guide to the
Galaxy.

Yuffie then went on to say,
"On a personal note, I'm going to my first ever wedding today. (Well,
it's
not MY wedding, but it's the first one I've ever been to. Everyone is
shocked that I'm 20 and I've never been to a wedding.)"

Hey, cool. I was at a wedding shower Friday night, for my bells
director's daughter. It was jolly good fun. And then this Thursday,
there's a wedding shower for my friends Simon and Jocelyne (whose name I
probably misspelled). I'm going to be at both weddings, in the summer
and fall. Plus, my aunt Vicki is getting married some time... Whoo!
I'm gonna be all wedding'd out.

Shadow:
"2. Ranma would never touch the stuff it would hurt him as a
martial artists "

But what about "Drunk-Fu?"

Stiffanie:
" What about Ukyou? Aside from Akane, she's probably the
one person who really loves him for what he is, not just wanting to
claim him like a trophy (like Shampoo). But she MUST know that he
doesn't love her like that."

I think she does, but she doesn't want to admit it to herself. Untill
Ranma and Akane announce that they're together (although, when I think
about it, I guess they have on numerous occasions which I will
conveniently forget for the sake of my argument), Ukyou has a chance of
winning Ranma over. I think that if Ranma and Akane became "official,"
Ukyou would probably accept it. She wouldn't accept it happily, but she
would accept it. Shampoo on the other hand...

"Random note: Does Shampoo _really_ love Ranma? Why? Somehow I think
that she only wants him to satisfy her tribe's laws. And if she does
think she loves him, maybe she just convinced herself that she does...?"

My view on this is that initially Shampoo went after Ranma for legal
reasons (which looks really funny, as I read it over), but she may have
developped some feelings for him. Whether these feelings be crush, lust
or love, I don't know.

Shouryu recently used the word, "facetious." Here is a useless fact: The
word "Facetiously" contains all five vowels, plus "y" in alphabetical
order.
