Aahh... we've finally got some good weather up here (good weather in
Canada: it's about 20 degrees out)... and I'm really happy.  I finally
got a birthday present for my friend Kate (her birthday was January 9th
^_^;)... I'm almost finished reading Great Expectations...  I'm going to
Youthfest (some Anglican weekend thing in Oshawa) for free... I'm
finished Snow White (a play that involved people, mostly my mother miss
costume director lady, putting foul smelling things on my head) which
means I can sleep in on Saturdays... I get to go to my first ever
convention... I got a show coming up that doesn't involve mornings or
latex on my head... And in math class today I learned something useful
(that my teacher is afraid of nuns).  I'm in a very good mood.

Hee hee.  Sorry.  Can't help it, it's an involuntary reflex as an
ex-immersion student.  Although, my French is actually pretty bad,
'cause I have this really awful accent that's sort of French Canadian
with a hint of immersion.  I don't recite French poetry; I butcher it. 
"Aille! J'ai tue la baelle p'tite poeme, la!"  And remember, I corrected
Dave Barry's French too, while I was at it.  I'm not just out to get
you. ("Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean everyone's out to get
you.")

Yep!  First time in Canada, too, eh? Well, maybe I can show ya round a
