I don't know about that. Blaming Ranma is pretty much the crux of his
exixtance.

<thing happens>
Ryouga: Curse you, Ranma Saotome! Thing is all your fault!

>Especially since he already does have some inkling of how she

Unfortunately Ukyou wouldn't do anything of the sort because she and
Ryouga have no romantic feelings towards one another (hiya, COURT! :-)
so he'd continue to hate Ranma and blame him for ruining his life.

>Akane has priority.

>The lovesick doof!

Don't get me wrong; I feel sorry for Ryouga. Really. And I do actually
like the character, he's cool. I merely side with Ranma and find Ryouga
to be a bit pathetic in his blaming Ranma for everything (and taking the
cowards way in fights and spending his life foiling everything Ranma
does and...)

>If you make one more Red Dwarf reference I don't understand I will be
>forced to put the "big hurt" on you!

You watch those Big Hurts, Tintoh! Oh sure, you're thinking "Hey, I'm
not addicted, I can quit whenever I want!" Yeah sure, that's what you
*think*, but one day someone's gonna die because of your addiction and
your life's gonna go down the tubes, my friend.

>All I know is Benji sent me a
>picture of a guy wearing a pigtailed blond wig! And she constantly

Red Dwarf is simply one of the funniest things anyone has ever come up
with, ever. In the same way that only an American could've come up with
Clerks, well only the Brits could've come up with Red Dwarf.

Season 1 and 2 were warm up, season 3 and 4 were the best, season 5 was
*hard*, season six was *concept*, season 7 was *crap* (they lost half
the writing team and Rimmer quit) but from what I hear Doug Naylor are
back together and Chris Barrie has stopped being an anal dork over in
the Brittas Empire and has decided to be an anal dork in Red Dwarf
again!

And there was much rejoicing.

>Whether he thinks of himself as a hero or not, he IS the hero of the

>Deadpool).

I loved Marvel's response to DC's 'Big Head Month', when all the DC
comics had the covers as a big picture of the lead character's head.
Marvel had one of Deadpool, and he's saying "Hey. It's my head." Totally
deadpan, totally Deadpool, totally wicked. ^_^

>But they all chase after him nonetheless. Why? Cuz every lady wants

Well throughout the length of the series Ranma only ever *got* one girl,
and he married her first.

>Ryoga spends his days and nights training to defeat Ranma and reclaim
>his lost honor

Like everything else, something he blamed on Ranma. *sigh*

>What the are you talking about?! What's a shadow lord?! Speak "D&D"
>damn it!

No! Shan't! Make me! ^_^
It's "Werewolf: the Apocalypse", coolest of the cool, best RPG ever IMO.

>Okay. Now I'm probably going to die a horrible flaming death.

Ten thousand armed Sam Troopers (tm) leap out of trucks surrounding
Hotnit and burn him to death with Ultima Flamethrowers.

>If you're talking about Star Wars being a modern mythology...

Yes, that was me!

>ugh.

So much feeling in just one word.

>Star Wars is a very, very cool trilogy of movies.

Darn tootin'!

>Nice characters, plot, effects, you name it. But it is really just a
>story of a bunch of guys saving a princess and they all go against >the
evil king and his dark knight to save all the peasants from their
>oppresive rule. All you need is a pumpkin, a poison apple, and a lady
>in a lake, and you'd have all the cliche' fables throughout history

Ah, that common misapprehension.
<Sam walks over to the cupboard, takes out his Wanky Pretentiousness cap
and puts it on, then walks over to Hotnit's toasty fried corpse and sits
down>

I think you've missed the point. Star Wars was SUPPOSED to be a modern
retelling of the classic myth. George Lucus very carefully researched
all the classic character archtypes, plot twists and storylines in
mythology and stories and wove them all into one. He got a lot of it
from Joseph Cambell. (WoD players, that's the guy they talk about in the
Mage rulebooks all the time)

>Azusa is protective and is just what insecure Ryoga would need if >Ukyo
wasn't around. A genuine sweetheart! And like all great >girlfriends,

nothing like being fawned over to raise a guy's self >image!
>
>[Azusa]: You're so cute!
>[Ryoga]: You r-really think so?

Yep, and then two minutes later she'd have transferred absolutely all of
her attention to a bottle cap. Which she would name 'Katrina'.

Poor Ryouga still don't get none. -_^
