Oh dear. ^_^ Newcomer's hated David Eddings as long as I've known him. 
The two people who would most readily qualify as his best friends are 
myself and a guy called Dennis, both of whom absolutely LOVE David 
Eddings' works, own all the books, talk about them, etc. Newcomer OTOH 
thought the books sucked, and made fun of them. But hey, everyone has 
their own opinion, y'know? I think the reason so many people here get 
annoyed at Newcomer is because they can't see his expression, a probelm 
with email. He'll say something like "David Eddings sucks!" with a smile 
on his face, because he's just 'giving it hell'. Seriously, I think 
people get offended to easily on the net. Don't take hassling so badly!

Look, observe: Hey Newcomer, you suck!

Now Newcomer will read the above, and reply to it in kind, but neither 
of us will stop being friends because we're just having fun, y'know?

Thanks, man. I hate not getting along with people (which is ironic 
considering the number of people who get annoyed at all the making fun 
of people I do :-)
