A lot of stuff today! Some spam, some seriousness. I seem to drool a lot in this
one too......
**********
Drakli:
<Many of the characters are willing to talk about killing at one point
or another...including Ranma (remember after Mikado kissed him) how would they react,
if in a duel, (no legal ramifications, remember) they actually did so?>

IMO, it would be a major wake-up call. It would probably force the character who
killed to give up martial arts altogether. None of them are prepared to handle such
a situation, especially in light of how old they are. The entire cast would be affected,
and most of them would drift apart, esp if it was Ranma who died.

Benzaiten:
<I don't even think Konatsu ever comes into the anime, although I wouldn't be the
one to know for sure.>

Darhma Chameleon (spelled horribly, I know!)
**********
QMark:
<Oh. TASS. Well, I'm familiar with TASS, but... the bloody thing is always down!
<whine> I wanna read it *now*!>

I know!!!! It's been down for ~ages~ and there's a lot of fic I wanna read on them!!!
*sob*

Kimmee:
<Escaflowne is simply _the_ best series I've watched. I only wish there were 10 billion
more episodes as opposed to 26. And I'm going to marry Van Fanel. That's all for
now ^-^>

*sob* Y-you mean he's already taken?? Noooooo!!!!! BTW, how much did the cd's cost?
I may be able to scrounge money for that.....

<I can easily picture Ranma looking cute, wearing nothing at all . .>

*Drool...* Kimmee! You too? Ever see the bathouse-fu episode? (the name escapes
me right now, but I have it) OH MY GOD! he's so fine...
*drool* Um, anyone have a bucket?

Stephen:
<Please forgive the NON-CANONICAL reference, but in Desparately Seeking Shampoo this
very scenario gets played out. Ranma goes through hell to try and win back Shampoo's
affection. Furthermore, Ranma does show a "little" vanity in this episode. "Could
it be that I've Lost it...My power over women?".

Ya know, to me he always seemed rather OOC in this one. I think he would have been
rather annoyed that he "wasn't good enough" for Shampoo, but I really don't think
he would have put himself through hell just to reassure himself that she still loved
him. IMO, he's really not that sort of guy. Did someone hit him in the head? Or
did he have a fever or something? Chasing after Shampoo like that, what was he ~thinking~?

*re-reads her sig*

I mean, what was he thinking, not chasing her from the start??
*sigh* This is getting hard......
**********
Benzaiten:
<and he could carry all those sadistic little tools in his sleeves so the patients
wouldn't have to sit and stare at them for half an hour, frantically wondering what
he plans to do to their delicate oral membranes with them, while waiting for him to
get off the phone with his golf buddies and come examine them.>

Oh, don't ~say~ that! I hafta go in soon.... first time in years.... *shudder* you're
scaring me! *lobs a couple pennies in Benzaiten's direction* Go away meanie! *runs
off crying*
**********
Anna:
<Not every girl goes for Mikado. He's kind flaky. Kuno has an intensity and depth
that Mikado doesn't. And what's wrong with poetry? It's romantic!>

It's a nightclub! His flaky-ness isn't gonna have time to show up! And poetry is
awsome, but not in a club where loud music drowns out half the words! BTW, have you
seen 3 Musketteers? the one w/ Charlie Sheen? "As raident beams of sunswept fire
carres your passionate face.... " Is that speech to die for or what!? *drool* I
~really~ need a bucket.....
**********
Drakli:
<snip offer to curse Hotnit>

Too bad there's no spring of drowned Shampoo, ne?
**********
Shadow:
<I don't know enough about Inu-Yasha to know if Kagome has a jealousy streak.>

As far as I've read, it hasn't really come up.
**********
Jim Lazar:
<No need to be ashamed. I prefer dubbed over sub myself. As long as the dubs are done
well, I prefer to head the dialog and watch the animation. With subtitles you miss
some of the effect of the animation while reading the subs.>

It never bothers me for one simple reason: I started using the closed captioning whenever
I watch regular TV. I've been doing it for years now even before I got into anime,
(yes, I know, I'm odd!) and over time, you get used to it.
