You said it brudder!  She's a cutie even while trying to administer third
degree burns!  Ack, what am I saying?!  This Ukyo stuff keeps falling out

Nah.  Some of the best villains are those that use their wits! Look at
Sherlock Holmes' nemesis Dr. Moriarty(sp?).  Hey, you don't see Lex Luthor
mussing up his suit trying to waste Superman directly.   

Shampoo was sure looking like a villain while trying to kill poor Ranma,
just because he/she put Shampoo got whupped in a certain fighting
tournament. I mean, whatever happened to sportsmanship?!  And Ukyo was
absolutely a bad ass while she was trying, like you said, "to correct her
honor by beating the snot out of Ranma".  It's not even like she was
being THAT evil... So she's got a little darkside, no reason for your
fellow Sauce..ites (what is an official sauce member's title anyway?) to
freak out. Oh crap, was I just talking about Ukyo again?! Ummm...uh...besides, 
if she was half as mean as KODACHI-SAMA (The Epitomy of Deadly
Perfection),  Akane would have had an "unfortunate" accident by now. Ah
yes, Kodachi. She's so "zen" in her evilness. *sigh*
