  I think the lazier (read that as 'slob') asians do this too. The
only problem is that if you have a wide brim bowl, you end up wearing
more of the soup than drinking it.
  I drink it straight out of the bowl! ^_^

  I usually annoy my friends/parents/relatives by ordering almond
jelly desert (it's kinda like sugared tofu!) and instead of using a
chinese soup spoon - I slurp it through a straw.
  Okay! Okay! So I got strange eating habits ... or was it a drinking
problem?! ^_^

  Nope. I doubt I'd be still alive with that volume of posting. I
already get stern frowns from my sysadmin. I give him a stern frown
back and ask him "When are you going to replace the 9600 modem with
something a little faster?"
Or "Gee - the 64k internet link is here, but what's happened to the
firewall..." then he shuts up real fast... ^_^
