Sure. :p

> I never *specifically* said the KTF was an Akane faction.

Then...what did this mean:
"Obviously, I'm not going to join the KTF--too many people already, and
*AKANE* has to be your fav character."

Sounds like you were classifying it as an Akane faction to me.

> I admittedly thought you had to "devote" yourself to her--in other words,

Ag - I'm just picking on you.

> Okay, as I stated in my last post, (which I know you didn't recieve when you

> for her honor of Akane Tendo against all of her sworn enemies."

But think logically on this for a moment - Who are the Knights going to
have to defend more often? Akane, because she will come under more fire
than Ranma. Why? Because, for the most part, Akane is a contender in a
competition (figuratively speaking), and Ranma is the prize. Since Ranma
is really not in competition (especially with the advent of Akari), you
don't have to compare him as much...there's more defending Akane simply
because Akane has three other contenders to be compared against.

> Akane reself." I *mistakenly* (you know, as in *human*?)

Yeah, I know. Human, as in 'everyone except Blade, who is never wrong,
and Kun-chan, who is always right'.

(Hint: I'm just picking on you!)

Whoa, dude. This is, like, _anime_ here. Come back to reality, really.

I mean, geez, I ain't dying for Nabiki. If it looks like she's in
trouble, I just alter the situation so that I can still protect her. This
_is_ just make-believe and what not, after all...

*Nabiki whacks Shour on the back of the head*
"Whaddaya mean you're not willing to die for me?"
Shour rubs his head. "Sorry, ma'am."

> I'm *so* sorry for taking this a
> little too (okay maybe a lot too) seriously and making the statement I did.
> I'm sure everyone or at least most people on this list was a newbie at one
> point, and made a mistake similar to mine somewhere in the beginning.

Oh yeah. I got mine. Jason Hicks saw to that. Heck, I got mine even
when I WASN'T a newbie. (Kun-chan saw to that.)

(She can see to it again, if she'd like, as long as she wears something
sexy...I'll bring the kettle, as usual...)

> A very nice Arnold corrected me on these points (about Akane being fav
> character) without getting too terribly defensive and upset. I then admitted
> I was wrong (ironically in the very same post your flame towards me was in),

You thought that was a flame?

*falls out of chair laughing*

Either you're relatively new to the whole Mailing List thing, or you've
never REALLY been flamed...

Flames are personal attacks which are meant to totally destroy one's
character. They're sent by people who don't bring up a point. I just
told you to do your homework better - admitted, I have a rather
sarcastic/sardonic tone (Prof. of Sarcasm 102, after all), but what I said
was hardly a flame.

Piss off Jaymz or Aoi sometime. Then you might get 'flamed'.

(Where the heck has Jaymz been lately, btw?)

> and I take back my earlier statement. Everything else you said I considered
> unnessarily harsh and cruel without seeing my whole case through.

*shrug* Yeah, I know you do. Most newbies do. Most vets say one of two
things:

1) "I remember when someone did that to me when I was a newbie."
2) "I remember when Jason Hicks did that to him when he was a newbie."

You were bound to slip up sooner or later, and someone would have pegged
you for it pretty harshly. Just happened to be today, and it just
happened to be me, is all. :P

Namecalling? I truthfully did no such thing. The only time I named you
was in the first line:
"Smile, a newbie who proves his cluelessness:"

Newbie is hardly 'namecalling'. Newbie means "New person". You are a new
person to the list, are you not? That's like me saying "Frank, a human",
and someone shouting, "Hey, no name calling!"

As for the cussing, you'll learn who says what around here. I generally
don't swear; it has been on two occaisions (IIRC) where I have been to the
point of cussing at someone here -

1) Last spring, when someone basically decided to use the ML to piss all
over the Christian faith with their stereotypes
2) My response to Newcomer this summer when he decided to use Viz to show
the ML how much Americans suck (for the 926th time since his
	arrival 8 months prior).

> I don't expect you to apolgize, hell, I don't even ask you to give me

Good, cause I'm just picking on you.

> All I'm saying is just give me credit (now or later) for
> apolgizing about my totally human mistake and leave it at that. We don't
> need to waste the list's space by squabbling.

You'll find that I hardly hold grudges - few people do. The slate gets
wiped clean for everyone at least every couple of days. ^_^

(Except when Newcomer brings his prejudice in. But that's not so often
now. As long as he isn't putting the US down maliciously, he and I get
along just fine.)

So, as far as I'm concerned, I don't care - slate's clean.

> Finally, I truly apologize to the rest of the list for *my* mistake. I hope
> noone else feels the need to berate me tonight or tomorrow, of couse that's
> the *vets* privilage to harrass at will, eh? So, okay? I stand corrected,
> amended my ways, and I won't say another word about it. I'm sorry.
> Gomengomengomengomen...

Ah, the rest of the list probably didn't care. I'm just picking on you.

(At least I'm not continually beating you up every time I see you, like I
do with that other new guy, Jos--)

WHere's Josh-kun?

*Josh raises his hand hesitantly. Shour runs over to him.*

Morning!
