Ok, somebody sometime back asked about dubbing of Mononoke Hime...

and then I'll use this to aid my reply:

<I will be seeing Mononoke Hime before most people here in America will, since I just
ordered it and should be getting it within 10 days. No subtitles, though. It's in
raw Japanese, just like all 3 of my Slayers movies are. It'll either cost me $10 or
$20, depending if it comes in it's original cover or not. It most likely will, cause
the people I order from now know me and know I order it to buy it, not to rent it.>


I saw Mononoke Hime back in May at Project A-kon in Dallas...Friday night/Saturday
morning at about 3 am...a group staying down the hall in our hotel had just finished
fansubbing it, and we were invited to watch it...As some of you may know, I'm a pro-sub
guy myself, and here, as usual, I think I'd prefer a sub...Disney...eeccchhh...I didn't
particularly like the dub they did of Kiki, but it didn't make me want to throw up
either, like Ayeka's voice from Tenchi movie 1 dub did...though I had previously seen
a subbed Kiki, so I was biased...as usual :P
