Major Katsuragi Misato and Dr. Akagi Ritsuko will be shot to death in End
of Evangelion (Air). As for Rei's bed...good question, because she won't
die (if that's what you want to call it) in that fashion.  Of course, the
25/26 eps. were made before Air was - and Air was essential made to
replace those episodes, so you can actually disregard them.  However, it
IS cool that what we see of Misato and Ritsu's fate matches up with Air.

No no - that's instrumentality.  Remember, Instrumentality wipes out
individuality and basically balls all existing conciousness together.
Shinji and the others are physically dead, but exist mentally still.  Now,
whether they are actually communication with each other (the dialogue
between Katsuragi and Akagi explaining instrumentality suggests this), or
whether each person is wrestling with their own memories (which the
'cases' suggest) is hard to distinguish.  I would think more the latter,
because if Shinji were actually speaking with everyone, then Yui and Kaji
shouldn't be there, because they died prior to Instrumentality.  I dunno.

They don't.  Genesis 0:13 is it, man.  Now we sit back (as we've all done
for over a year now) and continue to watch the western world fight to get
the rights to Death and Rebirth, and Air.
