We just had a thread like this. Oh well, it's a good one to talk about. IMHO,
I think Ranma fell for Akane before Akane fell for Ranma.

Ranma, as I like to think, first started to fall in love with Akane way back
in the second episode, when she is fighting off 1/2 the male population of the
school. Nabiki yells to Ranma to get to class or he'll be late. He yells back
saying what about Akane? Nabiki replys that that happens every morning. The
smile that appeared on Ranma's face and they way he watched Aakne fight those
guys definately said something ^_^.

Akane I think fell for Ranma later, after she was [getting] over Dr. Tofu. I
have yet to pinpoint the exact time (if that's possible).
