Palin's test was a ilusion made by Dalamar. Palin only find Raistlin in
the later book,
Dragons of Summer Flame. You will find that the sacrifice is Caramon
view only. Raistlin don't died at the hand or claws of Tarkhisis, he was
protected by Paladine.. Raistlin is without Fistandantilus influence, so
he isn't a black robe anymore...
