Ah...the old "Akari is too good for Ryouga" argument. ^_^ I argued over
this with Andrew Huang a lot, because he's a Ryouga/Ukyou supporter,
and the thing is, if she seems factory made for Ryouga, he sure doesn't
notice it. Most of his dilemmas in love in the last part of the series involve
his choosing between the two.

Besides, if you found _your_ perfect soulmate in life, wouldn't you be
happy about it? That's how I see Akari's love for Ryouga - it's not like
Shampoo or Kodachi's love for Ranma, which I think you are proposing
here (the whole worshipping thing ^_^), but more of Akari finding "her
ideal man".

Ah, you read Misa's work too? Yes, she too, is Ryouga/Ukyou, and yes, I
too have argued with her over it when I was a pre-reader for her
Lesson in Love fic ^_^ yes, she has that window of opportunity that
Ryouga hates his pig form. But if you look at the parts of the series after
Akari's entrance, you see that Ryouga is kind of able to accept hsi pig
form as well. Ryouga had thought that when Akari would find out about
his curse, she wouldn't love him anymore. On the contrary - she loved
him all the more (priceless frame of Akari thanking the gods, with Ryouga
getting big eyes and Ranma facefaulting ^_^)

So you may have be preconceived to their relationship by Misa's work
(which is very nice, IMO - she writes well), when in fact it really is an
exploring sort-of dating relationship in the manga. The fact that Akari
appears in the 20's or so of the manga and how Ryouga is still agonizing
over who to pick (Akari or Akane - see the whole wallet deal) at the very
end shows how at least half of him would like to be with Akari.

I think Takahashi-sensei was sending a little message (even though she
has said the only established couple is Ranma and Akane) to the readers
in the last volume when Ryouga and Ranma ended up in different parts
of the cave, each with one-half of Ryouga's wallet (guess whose pics
were in the wallet and who ended up with what pic?) ^_-.

think Ryouga should pair up with? No one is perfect enough for Ryouga,
but 
he does need love...um...Ranko. ^^>

Hey, now if I had to pick the most beautiful female, my head would
explode just like Laura-chan's ^_^; But I'd say Nabiki is pretty darn
attractive, and the leggiest female in the series. Also is rather "stacked
well" <------CoN member and creator of the Nabiki STACT theory ^_^

fics". It's horribly OOC at times, but to tell you the truth, Biles did that on
