April Fools. ^_-

(Some were fooled, some were not - for those who were angered by it,
I will stand right here in the open and take any punishment you have to
dish out. ^_^ Bradster, I didn't do the unsub thing, mostly because I
wanted people not to be too fooled by it - that kind of joke would
probably piss people off it was too believeable. ^_^ I wanted to be funny
on my 1-year anniversary.)

That being said...

The Ranma 1/2 Library Poll Results are in for 1997:

1997 Best Bride for Ranma

                1.  Akane Tendo - 74.5%
                2. Ukyou Kuonji - 11.7%
                3. Shampoo - 6.7%
                Honorable but Weird Mention - Pimpin' Imperial Majestrix of
SD-ism Laura

Comments: Akane held a huge lead from the moment this poll started one
year ago. She was never seriously challenged and Ukyou was the
closest (if you could call 50% behind on the average as close ^_^).

                1997 Best Couple in Ranma 1/2

                1. + Ranma Saotome and Akane Tendo - 25.3%
                2. Ryouga Hibiki and Ukyou Kuonji - 24.0%
                3. Dr. Onoo Tofu and Kasumi Tendo - 8.2%
                Honorable but Weird Mention - Ryouga Hibiki and Onna-Ranma

Comments: "The closest race. Through the first part of the year, Kasumi
and Tofu held the top spot, but they were soon replaced by Ranma and
Akane. In the latter part of the year, Ryouga and Ukyou took the top spot
from them...recently, Ranma and Akane retook the top spot in time to
win."

                1.  Ranma Saotome - 29.0%
                2. Ryouga Hibiki - 20.7%
                3. Akane Tendo - 11.7%
                4. Honorable but Weird Mention - Azusa Shiratori

Comments: "Ranma and Ryouga ran neck and neck for a time, but Ranma
pulled away int he final months for a voctory. Even counting male and
female Ranma sparately, he/she still wins..."

                1997 Most Disliked Character

                1.  Happosai - 17.7%
                2. Kodachi Kunou - 12.0%
                3. Shampoo - 10.2%
                Honorable but Weird Mention - Kasumi Tendo

Comments: "Happosai's ruled this category, though he's been seriously
challenged by Kodachi at times. Shampoo looked to over take spot 2 from
Kodachi but fell short in the last couple of months."

Per Justicar's suggestion, I've changed the poll questions. The 1998
Ranma 1/2 Library Poll questions are:

Most Dateable Ranma 1/2 Character
Best Jusenkyo Curse
Best Couple (Had to bring it back - it was so close)
Best Fighter (A huge subject of debate on the ML..but int eh outside
world? Let's see..)

Everyone gets the normal two votes per voting quarter (that is, two
votes every three-four months), so pop in and vote now. ^_^ I will of
course post the results every month.

I wonder if there's another "Vizz" site popping up..^_-
