This is anime-only, if the synopses list in the Universe is correct.
(I've never heard of a corresponding manga story...)

It could just be my poor taste in clothes, but I didn't like that skirt
at all. It was somehow too plain and too saccharine-filled at the same
time (what an ugly bow). It looked like something a six-year-old would
shove onto a doll (or something a girl who had never dressed as a girl
before thought that girls dressed in.)

One thing I don't like about Viz is the way they change references and
catchphrases to something that is relatively current that they think
we'd understand better. The reference to the X-Files in that episode
with Kuno and the 'haunted sword' comes to mind as well. These episodes
occurred long before X-Files or Animaniacs existed, and we can only hope
that they might put the true phrase in the sub (I'd be curious to see
what the Japanese say)

That's the good part about her skirt. Thigh shot. H_H

Maybe he thought that Ukyou'd 'put out' if Ranma was nice to her, and he
could watch? H_H

Daryl and Daryl: "QUIET!"
everyone else facefaults

<rofl> (I have that one on tape)

Not too much to say except that the name was created by XR-kun when he
RP'd Saotome Laura's Ryoga-clone into existence, and it kind of stuck.

Also, only Ranma-series clones are done because that's the only series
that I follow regularly (yea, verily, even watch).

WTH is a cabbit?

Kasagi Mura, re: fanfics:

>Where can I find these at?

There are many places to find fanfics, both on author's home pages and
FTP archives. Try some of these places:

The Anime Web Turnpike at http://www.anipike.com/ under Popular
Series: Ranma 1/2: Fanfiction links. This contains a listing of
whichever fanfic authors are advertising their pages here (not a
complete listing)

http://www.tass.org/fanfic/ is the mirror of RAAC, and fanfics there
are ready-to-read.

ftp://ftp.cs.ubc.ca:/pub/archive/anime-fan-works/Ranma/ is the RAAC
archive, and files are zipped. (I have better luck finding things here,
even though there's so much prefix to the title now you can hardly read
more than the first word)

=============

Can't find the original posts (I file quickly) about Hard Battle colors
and future quality, but I do remember being quoted by Frank, and would
just like to clarify something- the drawing style does gradually change
(just not instantly), and there are some well-done episodes in each
season (I won't go through my screencaps to find the ones for this
upcoming season, but they're there). The animation for the "Don't Cry
Anymore" opening is outstanding (better than the OAV's, IMO, without
that annoying 'cloned' look that the characters have), but unfortunately
the episodes themselves aren't as consistently stellar.
