alright since we have had a lot of discussion on ff7 and the ff series
in particular lately i wanted to explain my feelings on the characters
of ff7 and why i was let down by many of them. so putting all personal
character preferences aside here we go...

CLOUD- Cloud is your overall good character. he is strong, he has some
very powerful limit breaks, and his character design was nice (nice only
though because it seemed very typical of the heroic rouge character
personna of types, without much detail. all and all cloud was a worthy
character and fit nicely into the realms of ff7.

BARRET- Extremly powerful and also talks in ebonics! a first for the ff
series^_^ barrets further level breaks hold extreme power and so do his
attacks- the gun arm is interesting also. his character designed could
have been a bit more detailed though- he was a nice supporting character
and a strong fighter.

TIFA- Pretty weak and annoying. i must admit i did not take time to
level her up personally, but her higher limit breaks didnt seem to be
that great anyways. also she has a typical cutesyish anime design- she
lacks a lot of detail- i guess they decided to focus all that detail to
her chest^_^ one of her best qualities. she does seem to be a bit to
whiney and her weapon is one of the worst ever in ff- come on its a
glove!

AERIS- A strong healing character reminisent of Terra just a bit. she is
also a lot more loveable than tifa and has a personality not just a
bustline that rivals newyorks skyline. her healing skills are extremly
usefull in battle and her design is a very simplistic, but beatiful one.

RED- Red is a character i found to be pretty worthless. his limit breaks
are fairly powerful, but all and all he's pretty useless. he looks
pretty cool though too bad he turned out to be so mediocre.

CID- He is nessisary for all ff games^_^ nuff said.

CAIT SITH- Cute and cuddly- a very cool design and a very interesting
idea- the megaphone is also a novelty, but clever weapon. in truth
though cait sith is much too weak and his limit breaks rely too much on
the novelty side of things- he is a fun character to have though.

VINCIENT- Visual impressive and darkly skillful. vincient was a very
interesting character, but his weapons and limit breaks were too weak to
fit his character- the idea of a limit break where someone can transform
was an extremly unique idea i must admit. vinceint was somewhat of a
typicaloptional character- and also had one of the best character
designs in the game.

YUFFIE- I was extremly dissapointed, thats all.

...as you can see in the whole the characters were to unbalanced, and
there wasnt enough of them. this is all IMO btw so no one get made at me
if i said something that wasnt flattering about their favorite
character- my favorite was actually sephiroth, oh well. also i found the
musical score to be extremly dissapointing after the beauty and
precission that the ff3 musical score was executed in. it is true though
that the composer didnt have as much time to do it in- oh well again.
