> In my school most people think of anime as being perverted. The students
>picture horny animators drawing girls with large breasts.

That is a bad stereotype to overcome. However, since most anime advertising
is word of mouth perhaps they should look to themselves as to why its such a
stereo-type. Looking in the mirror is such a hard thing to do.

 They feel that
>Disney is the true source off all animation.

Nope, its the ruination of all animation.

Once, when I was explaning Ranma
>1/2 to friends they laughed at the plot. One boy said "The animators must look
>for excuses to splash Ranma with cold water"

Didi you get a chance to explain the rest of the characters?

>On the positive side earlier in the conversation a girl, Rachel Hacker, said
>"I love Ranma 1/2"

That's good.

>Question: I want to get a boy who is a Gargoyles fanatic interested in Ranma
>1/2. Should I use "The Akane to Remember" OAV because its serious or use one
>of the TV show eposodes?
>

I would use the earlier TV episodes. Usually by the time Kuno makes his
appearance, you will know if the person is hooked. Also, you can explain
things as you go along. Its easier than jumping into the middle and trying
to explain the whole plot.
