Also dreams are a place where the part of the mind that acts as a moral
"censor" is partly or totally absent, and all sorts of buried ideas and
images are able to surface. This may include things that are irrational,
contradictory, or contrary to the desires of the conscious mind.

The fact that you dream about something may not mean that you have a
suppressed desire to do it; it simply means that the image exists in your
subconsious.

The absense of the "censor" means that dreams are a totally unreliable
guide to someone's waking behavior or moral code.
