Just about everyone on the ML is getting tired of the evergoing Ranma
discussions...

     Coming from someone like Ranma who just about has the biggest ego in
the series, this has come to be expected of him...  So I guess I agree,
here...  to a point...  Remeber that while Akane was under the effects of
the super soba Ranma was repeatedly humiliated by Akane (by his own fault
though)  And with Ranma's ego people have come to expect that he act this
way when Akane "loses" her "power"...

Ranma about it's "special" nature. Ranma beats up the owner and steals

     From my take of the story, reading the Japanese manga (and my
Japanese is horrid) Ranma was jumped by four guys and his original
Dragon's Whisker was stolen.  What you said above is true but after
eating the food Ranma found out that he needed the Dragon's Whisker to
keep his hair from growing in incredilby excessive amounts until it "ran
out" so Ranma was in a pretty desperate situation...  And he used
desperate means...

     I'm not saying what Ranma did was right...  Just saying what I took
from the story...  If the owner had just given Ranma a Dragon's Whisker
to tie off his hair, I don't think that Ranma would ahve beaten him up...
 Then again Ranma was a girl at the time and the Dragon's Whisker didn't
affect her...  and this is only my take from reading it in the Japanese
manga (the Japanese language is nowhere near one of my fortes) so I can
only gather opinions from seeing the capsules (pictures)...  

     Unless Viz want to release that storyline now for us, (which at the
rate they're going, will be in about a couple years...) and I don't
really think they would...
