Owaranai natsu-yasumi, minna!!
(I listened to this song on "Repeat Endlessly" for over an hour with the
volume set to "Deafening". I stopped because my neighbors started to
bang the walls.)
First a diversion:
Man, I hate having to unlurk. Especially since the M.L. seemed like it
was going nowhere. I was going to post info like, "Oh, Wei-Hwa,
Akane breaks her window often in the anime. But in the manga, only the
ceilings in the Tendou household get damaged." Or maybe, "Hey! How many
boyfriends does Ukyou have now?! What about that other chef guy?" But
it was more fun watching the M.L. go on "autopilot" for a little bit. ^_-
==========
Anyway, back to the subject line. Naturally, there MIGHT BE SPOILERS,
so quit reading now if you're not into that kind of thing.
EVERBODY that qualifies for the Final Round of my vacation plans should
have received new details a few days ago detailing the CHANGE in the
date. Please send mail IMMEDIATELY if you have not received it.
The Shinnosuke video looks WORSE than in the manga. I think that it's
because they compressed a huge, 13 chapter story (that's over three
months in the original Shounen Sunday weeklies!) into an hour. It just
didn't seem as dramatic. Does anybody agree, or is it just me?
In the second video, what the heck are Akane and Ranma saying at the
end, when they pop up (I suppose) the copyright notice? They appear to
be babbling, but I don't get it.
In the OP song, it appears that the Tendou's mother looks alot like
Akane. She even has the blue hair. Of course, as she got older, her
hair darkens to the traditional blue-black color.
In the ED song, isn't it nice how Dr. Toufuu gets a cool outfit? But why
did they have to use "Sunday Red Shoes" as the song?! GAAAH!!
The third movie looks pretty funny, probably because they developed a
two chapter story into a 30 minute video. It looks like it has actually
MORE to it than the manga.
In the OP video, what does Nabiki's ticket say on it? (As in the
destination and arrival locations). The kanji looks really familiar, but
without a dictionary, I can't tell. Oh, yes, and don't you think that the
OP had a little too much cheese?
(Of course, KOR fans will love the imagery of the Orange Scene in the
OP. As you know, the orange has some deep signifcance to the series.
Hehehehe.)
At the end of the video, is Kasumi reading (I suppose) the copyright
notice?

P.S. I don't care what anybody says. Kasumi in the "single strap jumper"
looks TERRIBLE. It looks like some reject fashion from Vogue magazine.
