Yup. I printed out about 40 or 50 posters at the end of last term (during
exams, no less), most of them 11x17s. It took quite a few tries to figure
out the proper color balance: that printer mostly oversaturates the colours,
and tends to emphasize red and drop green. After i'd experimented and found
the right combination of filters to apply, i got some really nice results.
I made a couple for a friend of mine, too (a GOOD friend, for he was the one
who lent me his Video Girl Ai tapes!), and--get this--he got them LAMINATED
for about a THIRD of what it should have cost him because the cashier at the
print shop screwed up. Grrr... ^_^
