Actually, the UT Austin Anime Club is not a bad source to just watch
misc. stuff (showing nights) Showings should (don't quota me on this :)
resume in a week or two.

Never heard of it.

} Both of the Toy Joy stores on Guadalupe are fully licensed Sanrio dealers.

As far as I can tell, only the one on 21st and Guadalupe carries anime
stuff. As far as I can tell, they're *way* overpriced.

} DON'T GO TO AAA NEWS.

BR News also sells bootlegged stuff.

Uh, Dragon's Lair is on 34th street, just west of Guadalupe. They try
to carry almost all american releases when they come out. However,
they don't restock too often... They have some *limited* selection
you can rent, but if you want to rent stuff, just go to Vulcan Video.
The shop mainly sells comics, and carries as much translated manga
stuff they can get.
The owner doesn't mind carrying smut, but that's more of an exception
(at least so it seems to me :)

With A-Kon in Dallas this weekend? Hmm...

} Oh, yeah, I almost forgot... do any of these places sell anime CD's?

I am not aware of any store in Austin that carries japanese-released
anime-related CDs. For that matter, I'm not aware of any store here
that carries new manga in it's original language either.  ;_;
