Ranma would rather be all male, but as long as he has his curse he is
going to use it to his advantage----to win the battle or win the prize,
whether it's food or incriminating negatives stored in a belt that won't
open until it hits hot water.  If there was a contest for "cuteness" as a
story within the series, Onna Ranma would win.   

Onna Ranma is a master at the kawaii" look that makes most guys give her anything
she wants.
It doesn't work with Ryoga because he sees Onna Ranma as Ranma,  unless
Onna Ranma has a wig, glasses, or a
different outfit on, in which case he thinks it is another girl.

A smiling Akane, though, has such a sweet, natural look that is honest and
sincere.   She doesn't smile to entice or to get her way in a devious
manner.  This is happiness shining from within.

Onna Ranma's smile befuddles and deludes; Akane's smile makes the heart
glow and feel warm and happy inside.

As for the guys, well, I think Ryoga is the cutest.  It's funny, but
sometimes Ranma and Ryoga look alike.  There is the scene where Ranma (I
think he in a wedding suit) has his chin down, and looks up at Akane with
a wide-eyed, sad look that matches a scene where Akari and Ryoga are
kneeling, facing each other in his living room, and she is saying they
were pen pals but she wanted to see him, so she came for a visit.  He has
the same chin down, wide-eyed sad look as he gazes at her.  His eyes are
drawn like Ranma's in that scene, which gives him the same hopeful,
trusting look of innocence.  

Of course, depending on the scene (usually a profile, with their eyes
closed, both boys are quite handsome.
