Tell me about it. But you still have to take into account the fact
that translating is difficult with all sorts of forms and wordings to
take into consideration. I'm really not sure how they could
improve upon it though.
I know that in watching the Subtitled versions of the vids (sorry
guys, not fluent in Japanese) and then watching the dubbed
ones, sometimes I see totally different lines. It kind of bothers
me, but what can you do?
One of the worst instances, I think, in which this happens, is at
the beginning of the second movie, where Ryouga is telling
Ranma that he doesn't goof off. They dubbed it pretty awkwardly,
and it came out _real_ choppy...(either that, or I'm being way too
picky ^_^):
Ryouga: I do not ignore responsibility so that I may surf.
When the subtitles said: Sorry, but I'm not a lazy JERK like you.
I mean, Mike Donovan's a great voice actor, but that came out
kinda bad...ah well.
