There's very very few X vs. SF machines 'round here, either (St.L area),
but I, the ever wandering, still drive outta my way to play the really
cool "in QSound" version. *grin* All the advantages of not having that
much of a life. =)

... and the game engine was so-slow. =) By the time I left the SFII
machines alone is when they brought out the Turbo system... Played it a
couple of times, liked it a bit, then went on to MK (loooove that game
still. =) )

*nods* But that's why COTA, MSH, and X vs. SF was soooooo cool: all the
machine did was just count the hits, without having those dumb "slam a lot
of buttons" auto-combos that MK3 has. And it's divine when those same
snot-nosed kids come up, pop in 2 quarters, and ask about auto-combos
while fighting you. Then you can finish 'em off in style and say to them,
"There are none. =)"
