Personally - I find the "first come first served" offers are a little off
putting. There are those with batch mailing or delayed servers that will
invariably get the email several hours after it is published. While those
lurking in the net for every piece of email or news article pounce on it
within a few minutes of receipt.
Given my proximity - my best response if I was on the net 24 hours a day
would be between 3 to 5 minutes of publication. By then - someone would have
had the jump on the offer before I could even read the offer in the first
place.
So may I suggest that you place the offer privately if you are selling it
at a fixed price - or otherwise - hold a closed bid session. One bid only
and the highest bidder gets the item (this way - you can certainly make a
bit of extra profit on the side!!! ^_^)

[Nettouhen series]
From what I read - the general concensus is that people do want the whole
series out - warts and all (or tedium and all).
Most are willing to purchase these tapes/LDs. The main gripe is which medium
it will be sold in (tape or LD) and what signals are there (CC, sub, dub
etc).
Voicing your preferences are fine - and I think Toshi (from Viz) will take
note. He is trying his best to accomodate your preferences but he still has
to look after the commercial interest of Viz too. (Okay - you can insert
your comments about "mercenary" interests... ^_^)
In the end - what ever format comes out - it's a case of you buying it or
not. Whinging, complaining and sulking won't do much - except annoy the rest
of us for such a "narrow minded" view. If you are that p*ss*d off at Viz not
turning out your preferred format - I suggest you mount a takeover bid and
become managing director - then you can call the shots.
I for one won't be buying the series since I can complain even more - but
I won't since it won't change a thing! ^_^

Toshi (of Viz), thanks that you do listen to this ML and consider these
peoples request. Also - supplying us with bits of information about the
actors/actresses and the release plans for Ranma. -- = Eric 1/2 Shen
