Really, it isn't that expensive. I saw at a nearby Best Buy store(like
a cheap Circuit City, cheap in price, not quality) that they were
selling a couple of nice LD players on clearance for about 200-300
bucks. They weren't cheap pieces of crap, either. They had standard functions
with CD carousel compatibility and CDV compatibility. Another thing, these
were Pioneer. The SVHS right next to them was at least 300 dollars more...
Hmm...maybe I should get an LD player...
