After a week where I don't have time to look at my email, I've finally
returned from the ordeal known as 'Vacation' and ready to serve the
Ranma ML once more.

	Note:  This reply is probably very out of date, but I'm replying as I
read it, so there.

	I'm pretty sure the OVA comes after the series ended.  As I'm aware,
the TV ended at around the equivalent of 20 something manga volumes,
where most of the major and minor characters, except Akari, has been
introduced sometime earlier.

	I think that is more of a challenge, because Shampoo never did get
defeated by Akane, after all.  I think it is to show that she is serious
about this fight and intend to settle this problem with Akane, but not
really kill her.  Otherwise, she would have.
