Because LDs are a less viable market since so many fewer people own LD players
 than VCRs.  I like Ranma but there's no way in hell I'd buy a LD player
 just to watch Ranma.  It's bad enough I bought a used SNES just to play
 Hard Battle but a LD player is whole different tax bracket.
