I was going through SS again this morning...and have a few things to add:
the title is (approximatly) Transformed Saffran
I don't think Saffran's transformation is complete - I guess he'll probably
wrap himself up in a cacoon, and transform into a dragon/phoenix/whatever
When Akane gets disintergrated, he doesn't say anything particularly
usefull (typical 'stupid, ignorant, hasty humans' line), though I think
he implies that Akane has gone back to what she was like before she was
born, or something like that (can't find all the kanji)
I think Ryouga thinks that Ranma reaction to Akane's 'death' is fake - ie
doesn't realise just how much Ranma cares about her
The hair around Ranma's hand solified - I don't think Ranma's hands have
been turned to glass, but he doesn't appear to be able to move them.

I think Kiima (being able to turn into Akane when splashed with water)
will have some major role in the restoration of Akane - ie I think it's
a deliberate set-up in the plot.
The Guide seems likely to die soon (from what he says in part 399), so
I guess Plum (his daughter) might end up living at the Tendo Dojo.
I could be wrong, but it looks like SS will now be comming out on
Friday's - next issue comes out on the 5th - this Friday.

They have a 400th Aniversary Special T-shirt (one of male Ranma, the
other of female Ranma), which are pretty unimpressive - simple mono-colour
drawing. Also, the Ranma 1/2 watch (they have watches for all the SS
series) is also unimpressive.
The next Ranma 1/2 Super OAV comes out on the 19th - they have a 3 page
colour add in SS. I don't know how Shampoo and Ryouga are going to
effect the plot (based on the story in V31), though there is a picture
of doll-Akane riding P-chan. (The story is about a doll possesing
Akane, and Akane becomes the doll, and now 'Akane' tries to kill Ranma).
