The series is less than an year of 'time' but more happened in the series than what can possibly fit in one year. Certainly the content of the series is enough to fit several years of story. > Why so little? There is definitely 'several years' of content in Ranma 1/2 for sure > In the last volume again, she is in love but doesn't need to say to it. If you want to write such Ranma fanfiction, you have to create that > part of Akane. If you don't have the guts or the imagination to do so, stop > writing Ranma fanfics where Akane is in love, period. What's the point of creating a part of a character that the series never tell you about, and is not easily extrapolatable, and then call her Akane? I can do it, but she's just a girl who happened to be called Akane. It's pointless and empty. She is not Akane of Ranma 1/2. While of course it would be boring writing only what's known in the manga, there is basically no romantic basis because they never get past the 'falling in love' stage. Also even for being in the falling in love stage, they do it really miserably. Eternal love may withstand any conflicts betwen a couple, but in the case of Ranma 1/2, Eternal love seems to exist for the sole purpose of withstanding their eternal bickering. > Dlded it, will play the tryout version. > The poster looks soooo ripped off Suikoden 2, though. ;) You mean Suikoden 3. Saber is definitely the least interesting out of the big 3 female characters (Rin/Ilya/Saber), but she's still far better than just about any female character in RPGs. If only Ilya had her own story... but at least there is Rin. Shirou versus Emiya is probably the greatest battle I've ever seen in a RPG, and there are only 3 frames of animation in the entire battle... Don "I can see the future now. Your time has already ended, but my time has just begun." Shirou, to Emiya, Unlimited Blade Works arc.
