I am a Christian as are all of my local friends. There are some people who are pig-headed and think that it is their job to save everyone. Others may not agree with your religion, but they still try to respect it. Some Christians are judgmental and won't be friends with anyone who doesn't believe in what they do. Others are more open-minded and don't turn away people just because they don't agree with what they are doing. The biggest problem with the Christian belief is that it has a strong basis in being a witness and trying to save other's souls. Some Christians believe that it is their purpose in life to save as many souls as possible and judge people by what they think is right and wrong and badger them about what they should be doing in their lives. Others provide testimony to their beliefs without stepping on others rights to their own. Although it may not provide much comfort, try to remember that, in either case, they think that they are saving you. I agree that nothing gives Christians the right to do this, especially depending on the methods they use; but according to their belief what they are doing is going to save you from an eternity of pain. Of course, the problem here is that no one has the right to tell you where you stand with God except for God, so all of these people are still in the wrong. So, please, try not to judge all Christians based on the actions of some. No one likes to be stereotyped like that. Not you, not me, no one. --kagome-hime ----- Original Message ----- > From: "LWong" To: Sent: Sunday, February 02, 2003 7:18 PM Subject: Re: Ranma-Chan and Parents > Ah... be warned... taboo subject of religion ahead, > press "Back" now, to avoid it... > > > > Ive had one of those > > situations myself and havent > > seen the guy since either and had other run ins with > > christians that sit > > there and tell me I have bad lifestyles or that Im > > "going to hell" > > Hrm, seems like everyone has had one of those "run > ins"...
