They were subbed by Robert and his "Ranma Project". There was an article on early fansubbers in the first issue of the 2nd version of Animag. Another guy who did work for fansubbers was Michael House, of Animeigo and late, of Gainax fame (still translates their website, as I recall); I have a copy of Midnight Eye:Goku translated by him (wouldn't it be ironic if Animeigo ever got the rights to that title????). But I don't know how many episodes of Ranma were completed by Gutierrez and his crew; I don't even know if he is still active in fansubbing....
