I noticed that as well and I am thouroughly convinced that it is the
serenity which she carries in every part of her. She is lithe,
gracefull, smiling almost always, and she just looks ssssooooo
calm...
	In the Anime, they gave her an expression that I have never
seen duplicated with equal effect in real life. The first time was
when she was sitting on the park bench while Kei bought her some hot
tea after they couldn't find  a place to live. She was sitting up
straight with her eyes closed, her head tilted ever so slightly up
and to one side. She didn't look tired, or sleepy, or like she
was thinking hard (or the usual things people look like when
theur eyes are closed). She looked very calm and at peace and as
if she were listening to something that no one else could hear.
It's the most amazing posture/expression that I've ever seen. It
was very dignified and mature, but at the same time, without a 
care happy. I notice these small things...
