Hi all,

I'm new on this mailing list and also am new at collecting anime, I
follow Orange Road with my friend but am looking into others. Oh My
Goddess! Interests me and I'm going to start collecting it. As for my
question, I was wondering where to start, Anime or Manga? I can get all the
OVA's or I can get all the Dark Horse Manga. Also I'm Interested in the
japanise Manga but don't know where to get it. Can any one help me out?

As far as Japanese Manga goes, unless your local
comic book store special orders them, they are somewhat hard
to acquire. Usually I get my manga from Kinokuniya
Bookstore in Seattle, Wa. (when I'm in the area) or order
them via the internet from Sasuga Japanese Bookstore
( http:/www.terra.net/sasuga ). Please note that these
comics / manga are in the original Japanese and are not the
English translations by Dark Horse Comics (for 'Oh! My
Goddess' - 'Ah! Megami-sama' )

< by the way, please forgive the commerical plugs >

As far as anime, its a matter of taste and choice.
Depending upon what series you wish to follow will probably
dictate what anime you'll watch. More important is where to
locate the anime in question. For more popular anime, like
Ranma 1/2, Bubblegum Crisis, Your Under Arrest, Oh! My
Goddess and so on.. the video chainstore are starting to
stock these items rather well (i.e. Suncoast Video,
MediaPlay)

        I hope this helps you.
