After reading all the interest in starting clubs here on the Megami
list, here are some help sources to try out:

Anime Club Officer's Mailing List:
  This is the North American club information exchange.  You need to be
a club officer to join (if you are starting a club, give your club a
name, call yourself "Founder-President", and sign on).  Contact Jei at 
     gokuu@gnu.ai.mit.edu
  and ask to be put on the ACO list.  The list often degenerates into
obscure discussions on various pieces of video gear or qualities of
video tapes, but over 70 groups and 250 officers read the list.

Central Iowa Anime:
  (Shameless Plug)  This is my group, that I am VP/Copyist for.  E-mail
me privately with your address and phone number and I'll send you our
fansub list.  I usually work a special deal for starting clubs, so let
me know that you are a starting club.  There are strings attached,
TANSTAAFL!

  I know the list has been quiet, since most of North American fandom
was at Expo over the weekend, but traffic should pick up now.
