Just today I went to Little Tokio (in Los Angeles) and got my hands on my
first ever manga... AaMegamisama Vol.12. Although, my Japanese is limited
to a half a dozen words.... I was really impressed by art and think about
getting more manga.
BTW, is there a web site that has translations, or at least brief
descriptioons of what's going on in manga?

Yep, I like "Oh, My God" and also "Growing Pains" (part 3 should come out
within a few days ^_^ Yatta!).

This weekend I saw first 4 episodes of "El Hazard" and the story is
somewhat simmilar (I think, the anime I saw wasn't subbed). Four characters
from Earth tranported to the magical world "El Hazard".... Very good
quality animation (IMHO), definitelly worth watching more...
