Wrong!  You don't alway get the best quality when you get the Japanese LDs.
I have number of Japanese LDs that have Laser rot (spell?).  However, so
far I have no problem with any domestic LDs from AnimEigo, Central Media
Park etc.  It's true that Japanese LDs do come with nice inserts.

Wrong again!  CAV's picture quality isn't any better than CLV unless you
want to pause to see still frames.  There is no difference in picture
quality between the orginal AMG LDs and Animeigo's LDs.  They look
identical in picture quality wise.

You should get AnimEigo's LDs if you have very little to spend and want to
enjoy the story.  The subtitles are done very well with the best
Macintosh's got to offer.  They look whole lot better than any other
subtitling company.  But if you have +$60 to spend on one LD(25 mins each)
be my guest.  Personally I think it's worth more than $60 for those inserts
and the jacket art work.
