I suppose strictly speaking, he isn't using the identical formula over and over again.
After all, we haven't seen the little critters that supposedly live in engines.  ^_^


Still, as has been remarked upon, there's no heart in any of the stories that have
been produced recently.  Characters aren't being developed.  Relationships certainly
aren't being explored.  Without the heart, the stories are pointless.
